Italy's Government Launches Initiative to Offer Sicilian Homes for Just €1

The local government of Mussomeli in Sicily is offering abandoned properties for just €1. The only catch is that you must renovate the house within three years of buying it.

Mussomeli is a charming town with 11,000 residents, nestled in the heart of Sicily. It sits in a hilly area east of the Platani River, at an altitude of 765 meters above sea level. The town is 53 km from Agrigento, 58 km from Caltanissetta, 99 km from Enna, 199 km from Ragusa, and 150 km from Catania airport.

The project is overseen by the Municipality of Mussomeli, which serves as the mediator and guarantor of these purchase and sale transactions.

The properties are being sold for €1 by their current owners for various reasons. Buyers are required to renovate these homes within three years of purchase.

Imagine owning your dream home for just €1 in this beautiful Sicilian town, located not far from stunning beaches and the historic temples of Agrigento.
