At least seven people got hurt when a portion of the cliff collapsed at Navagio Beach on the Greek island of Zakynthos, according to officials.
Emergency services haven’t found anyone trapped so far, but searches will continue. The injuries from the incident on Thursday afternoon are thought to be non-life-threatening.
Navagio Beach, also known as “Shipwreck Beach,” is a popular tourist spot and is accessible only by boat.
An eyewitness described hearing a noise followed by a small rock falling. This was soon followed by a larger piece and finally a third sizable rock, which caused a sea whirlpool that flipped some of the boats.
