Scoot Introduces Affordable Berlin-Singapore Flights Starting in 2018!

Scoot Airline has announced that it will start a new route to Europe in 2018. This new route will connect Berlin and Singapore, making Berlin the airline’s second European destination after opening the Singapore-Athens route in June of this year.

Scoot, which operates as the low-cost carrier of the Singapore Airlines Group, currently serves 62 destinations in 16 different countries. The upcoming Berlin service will be the airline’s third long-haul route added to its schedule.

The Singapore-Berlin flights will operate four times a week, with passengers traveling on Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

Lee Lik Hsin, Chief Executive Officer of Scoot, mentioned that the airline’s merger with Tigerair Singapore earlier this year has significantly strengthened its market position. He highlighted the successful performance of the Athens route and the promising bookings for Honolulu. He expressed excitement about expanding to Berlin and offering the affordable fares that Scoot is known for. The airline plans to start selling tickets for the Berlin route in the first quarter of 2018.
