Wellington: On Monday, February 6th, Qatar Airways celebrated the arrival of the world’s longest commercial flight in New Zealand. This impressive journey covers a distance of 14,535 kilometers, taking passengers from Doha to Auckland.
The airline shared the exciting news on social media, announcing the landing of flight QR920 in Auckland at 7:25 AM local time, which was five minutes ahead of schedule. The flight lasted 16 hours and 23 minutes.
The plane had a crew of four pilots and 15 cabin crew members. During the long journey, they served passengers with 1,100 cups of tea and coffee, 2,000 cold drinks, and 1,036 meals.
